Meanwhile, back on topic for this thread ...

after a day of proats (with coffee flour... oh yes!), pork/chicken meatballs and salad, cheese, etc ... I'm having some Brulee Tartes a l'Orange for dessert.

Because FOOD PORN and I'm really over not being able to train this week due to a pinched nerve in my back.

Yeah, the tarts are good :)

Coffee flour .. .I shall reveal all. It's made from the coffee cherry after coffee beans have been removed for drying and roasting.
It's really good and has a lot of nutritional value but also tastes amazing (not like coffee).
Actually, if you've ever tried lucuma powder (made from a peruvian fruit), it tastes a bit like that (not surprising given the coffee cherry is fruit).

It's not commercially available yet but will be later this year.
I'm roadtesting it and trying it in some recipes.

It's really high in dietary fibre, has a good dose of protein, low in fat, and lots of micronutrients. I just hope they do not market it as a superfood or I will lose my shit LOL praying for nooooo.

will report back with foodstuffs made with it. Also considering using it in desserts and maybe in my chocolate bonbon range. There is a fine milled one and it's geared for that sort of thing.

Check them out here: https://www.facebook.com/coffeeflour?fref=ts

Meanwhile, I went to a Valrhona Pro event yesterday so ate ALL THE CHOCOLATE lol

my job makes my nutrition a tough gig sometimes.
