It'a gonna hit the sun in the wrong direction and blind you... :P

Went and bought myself a GME antenna this arvo, gonna install that and me UHF this weekend.

its a cheap roll of platic protector cut lengthways, bloody hard to thread anything down and bloody hard to roll something into it. I have had a uniden UHF sitting around for years and only installing it now. Got myself a GME antenna with a solid base and spring to go with it

That shit is easy as!! Used it for my led roof lights!
I've used Uniden for years, my handhelds are over 12 years old.
I put an Alinco in my Colorado and deciding on what to get for the Patrol.

Well that's all well and good for you, i've yet to figure out how to apply the figgen stuff :/ Will tackle it again tomorrow, with some pointy nosed pliers and a screwdriver

Had my camper trailer written off 2 weeks ago. Got hit by massive hail, rain and winds. Insurance decided they didn't want to pay the money to get a canvas repairer to fix the damage so they organised a whole new tent.

Anyone looking for some 'cheap' driving lights, Supercheap is selling all their Narva stock of driving lights as clearance items. Most are $85 a set.

Picked up Narva 180/85 100 watt driving lights for $85 a set, complete with covers, wiring, relay and switch, bought two sets.

Was lucky to also pick up a set of Narva 175 pencil beam 100 watt with covers, relay and switches for $85 as well.

Bought them for a little side project I have doing at the moment, building a off road Feroza, the 180's will be roof mounted two facing forwards and two angled out to light up the sides of the road, with the pencil beam 175's mounted on the bull bar.

These are pretty good lights and bargain priced if you are fast, once they are gone they will be gone, still have my eyes out for a set of 55 watt reverse lights, making reversing safer in the scrub at night, or the city.

The guy behind the counter said Supercheap will no longer be selling Narva lights, but will be selling their own SCA branded ones exclusively.

That top photo shows the paint fading pretty damn badly :(

If you're worried about the paint, find a reputable car detailer near your area and get the paint polished and then get it coated with either a synthetic or ceramic coating. It'd be better if you can find an Opti Coat installer (i don't know where you live to give any references) and get that coated on your car. It's top stuff.
If you're not THAT worried about the paint, and just want it to stop deteriorating further, then grab some of this (http://www.waxit.com.au/collections/spray-sealants/products/carpro-reload-50-400-1ltr-5ltr) stuff. Wash your car, dry your car, and then spray this stuff on a panel at a time and wipe off with a microfiber towel/cloth.
